In this section I was required to draw my front cover, contents page and double page. Then I had to annotate it as well, by me doing this task I was able to picture how I wanted my final piece to look like. I annotated the different convention on each page and discussed why I chose to position them there. I made sure I tried to draw different designs so they won’t look similar to each other. However if I could go back to it I would have coloured it in to make it stand out more.
After doing this task I had to choose some drawing from the front cover, contents page and double page and develop them on Photoshop. I had to use the shape tool to position the different convention I was going to use then labelled what was going to be on it. The reason why I developed my designs on Photoshop was to enable me to further develop one of the designs which I did. This was done by moving some of the shapes and adding barcodes, masthead and coverlines etc to it.
Overall I think this task was good because it helped me developed more skills and have a better understanding on how I wanted my music magazine to look
Photos: 1Oth to December 2012
I was also required to take effective photographs of the models I was using during the ch holidays I made sure I organised my time wisely so I would be able to check through the photos to see if I liked them or not so if I never I was able to make adjustments to it.
DP Article:
I had to write an article about my music artist. However i did mine in a structured interview methods (questions and answers). While i was doing this task i had to make sure my article was interesting in order to grab the readers attention.
Furthermore, i also had to come up with five titles that i wanted to call my music magazine ,this was good due to the fact that i was able to have choices on what name will work best for my magazine
